Photoblog of Korea.
My life and times.
Scenery, imagery, festivals, and whatever else I feel the need to show. They usually follow a theme for a while -- maybe the same show or area I visited will follow for a few days or a week.
The snow-covered roofs of Seoul’s Bukchon Hanok Village, seen from Bukchon Observatory (admission: KRW 3,000, but it comes with a free cup of coffee/tea/juice).
I’ve worked in Bukchon for eight years, and I sometimes guide visitors through it, but I’d never been to Bukchon Observatory before today—-many thanks to John Steele for pointing it out. That’s one of the many charms about Bukchon—-there are always new things to discover hidden within its alleys.
